1. Wrong. The number One most awful Oscar moment was watching Dances with Wolves beat out Goodfellas for 1991's Best Picture.

Oops. Telecast aired in '91. Awards were for 1990's films.

James Cameron got verbally whacked by Amy Poehler at the Golden Globes this year :

“I haven’t been following the controversy surrounding Zero Dark Thirty,” Poehler said after drawing attention to nominated director Kathryn Bigelow. “But when it comes to torture, I trust the woman who spent three years married to James Cameron.”
