I love homemade sauerkraut!!! How bout sending your fellow Freeper a jar? My ex-wifes mother used to make sauerkraut. I sure do miss her. Mom in Law, not the Ex.
Thanks for the smile this morning. I have 2 large #6 crocks going and it still always seems to not be enough for our family of 3. It could be another few weeks before it is ready. Sorry but I will be unable to send out a jar, shipping would be a challenge. I suggest you check out your nearest polish neighborhood, especially one with a polish hall or even a Catholic church in a polish neighborhood. It’s also pretty easy to make your own. You just need a cool place to park it.
