You have probably the most complete posting I’ve seen anywhere on McCready’s total downward spiral. When your problems become your claim to fame its over!
The part that blew me away was that her son’s dad also committed suicide.
Dabbling in the music biz myself. I thought she was a one hit wonder. If so, she didn’t make any money. A big hit is the price of admission, not a “strike it rick” moment.
It also means she was in her teens when her hit got big. What a thing to live up to your whole life.
I am so glad I didn’t get into music until my mid-40’s. Most of the guys I’ve worked with that have played their whole life have much worse issues than most people. It’s a whole world view. And the stage is like a drug.
My seattle band used to do her “hit”. I really hated the song and its premise.
That is still being investigated and Mindy is considered a person of interest in his death. The only people who have stated he committed suicide are McCreedy’s publicist and Mindy. Law enforcement haven't ruled out anything in his death. His body is still at the state crime lab in Arkansas.
He was in the process of leaving Mindy and they had fought earlier in the day before his death.
If what comes out of your mouth is not the exact same as comes out of your other end, then explain to all how hereditary spastic paraplegia is temporary.
If you are not a person who just makes shit up when they think it will help them in a debate, let us all know how those who lived through years of abuse in a child brothel have only a temporary problem in their infertility...when the medical types say their fallopian are pretty much destroyed.
You have an inability to admit to reality as it truly is which causes you to spout Pollyanna platitudes as if they were in some way connected to the real world. Thats not compassion, and it doesn't help solve anything for anyone.
And yet, actors needn’t be (pardon the pun) hypocrites... Ronald Reagan anyone?
I thought much the same thing. She gave herself to a spirit of evil and obeyed its bidding. What a horrid thing to do to her children! Yes, she could have afforded the cream of the psychiatric crop.
Which song was that, I do not follow all the celebs.
What’s this gaggle of strawmen, of arguments and excuses that were never made?
Wow! I guess you sure told me how the cow ate the cabbage, lol.
I can only hope we are discussing two different subjects.
The instances you cite aren’t temporary, I agree.
However, I think we were discussing suicide. And a “platitude” that evidently annoys you in reference to the subject. Most people (not all) off themselves due to a situation that is temporary. Lost love, money problems, etc. These situations are usually temporary and the hopelessness that leads to suicide (a permanent solution) will pass with time.
I sincerely hope you have gotten the burr from under your saddle this week, Mr. Edd. Your vehement response was uncalled for...even if we were discussing two different situations.
