I grew up on a farm about 65 miles east of Austin. We took great care of the animals. BTW, if you don’t shear sheep, they can die of heat stroke.

We have alpacas - it’s cruel NOT to shear them before summer. The vegan lady was upset because sheep had been bred to have full, dense coats that they did not naturally shed in the hot months. So let’s breed them back by thousands of years so we can harvest the fleece as it is shed onto thorn bushes.
