I’d say Chuck Berry is very underrated. But then, every butthead these days thinks real music only began late ‘60s. Kind of funny, the same time everything went to hell, yet we’re supposed to believe music is great since then and nothing before was any good, because it doesn’t have an “edge”.

Rock and Roll was birthed in the blues.

American Blues that was cherished, studied and thrust onto the music scene, primarily by British bands.

The list is nearly endless. But, it’s still the Blues.

I believe the origin of this blues sound, I could be wrong, came from the Irish settlers to what was the back country in the 1800s.
