There’s “pasty” and then there’s “pale”. Someone who can’t tan is pale. Someone who spends their whole life in front of a TV screen is pasty ;)

I’ve tried tanning. I turn red like a lobster. So, no tanning for me, sadly.

Someone who spends their whole life in front of a TV screen is pasty ;)

Some of us can't help it. Spend most of your time in front of a Monitor screen and it's a given.
