Interesting you note the non American women who are still marriage material.
This last fall I was taking care of a friends 3 year old, going to the day care for drop off, pick up and attending events. All of the fathers I met were white American men. Their wives were all non native American women. All of them.
Indian, African, South American, Chinese, Korean - I was amazed. They are bless to have found what is so lacking these days in American women.
Me? Single, no kids, never married - yeah, it is hard to find a great gal to marry.
My daughter is gorgeous, sweet, supportive, brilliant, a very hard worker, and is extremely good with children. She lives in an area where there are very few young men her age, however.
It hurts to see so many men take up with women who are foreign nationals. I know that some American women are screwed up, nasty cows, but not all American women are beasts and not all of these oh-so-obedient foreign women are angels. More than one American man has been used and abused by the purportedly grateful, devoted foreign girls. Some of them can be really tough.
You would be even more amazed at the bios of the foreign-born women I correspond with. With very few exceptions, they far outshine their counterparts in the US not only in the looks department, but also in how they feel about themselves and about prospective marriage material.

Sorry about your situation...but you do know where to look. Just about all of the friends that I grew up with are either never married or divorced and not remarried (about half each). Me, I made up my mind 25 years that my only chance was someone from the other side of the world and we’re doing well.
