The scansion is a bit ragtime, but I like it!
Earth and sky,
Fire and water,
Glory to the Gator,
Our Heavenly Father.
For He is the One who rose from Abyss,
Gave form to the formless, from His breath came the mist.
From the mist came the sky, the clouds, and the rain,
Which quenched His great body, in it’s valleys and plains.
From His crests rose the mountains, which shadowed the land,
From His tears rose the oceans, from the oceans came man.
