Leftists are that stupid, many of them. The exceptions are commonly those from a working class/private sector union background who often have some real acquaintance with actual physical labor. I’m on fairly good terms with a Teamster who is quite leftist on many issues, but he knows how to break a sweat and has only contempt for the academic left types who have never done a lick a physical work in their lives. He’s also fairly conservative on gender issues because he understands that men and women are different.
That said, there are a lot of academic leftist types who have never done physical work, nor even played competitive sports, nor had kids who played competitively. Some of them literally don’t have a clue. They really think if the girls trained up a bit, they would be physically competitive. Impenetrable ignorance.
The liberal soccer moms, I must say, are perfectly sensible about this. Many of them are fiercely competitive (their girls are playing travel soccer, after all), and they know perfectly well that their daughters, who played coed when they were little, haven’t been able to hang in with the guys since they were 12.
I understand. Some leftists are so dismissive of reality that I really wonder how any of them ever manage to reproduce the old-fashioned way.
When the left gets through, they will have a military which can’t efficiently or effectively fight foreign enemies, but will be a perfect force for keeping the citizenry in line, especially if they manage to disarm us of everything more powerful than a slingshot. They understand the “frog in hot water” concept as well as we do (those of us who do), and that’s how they’ll do it-nibble away at the “edges” of the Second Amendment, with the naive complicity of many conservatives, until they’ve gutted it. Then the new politically correct, politicised military will keep us line without much effort.
