Engineer and aerospace pioneer Burt Rutan writes to me in an email today:
The chart the Alarmists do not want you to see. Human Carbon emissions vs. The ‘Gold Standard’ global temperature data set (chart from C3).
The alarmists are now fighting hard to protect their reputations and their damaged careers, not fighting to protect a failed theory of Dangerous Human GHG warming.

Oh CO2 causes BOTH global warming and global cooling so we just need to end all CO2 “pollution” with lots of new taxes and subsidies for green energy and the problem will be solved. I’m sure the low information voters (a.k.a morons) will accept this. Too bad Al Gore is too busy rolling in his Arab oil money to make a new movie about global cooling.
We’ll all be sleeping with the polar bears in igloos.
Let me preface my statement by saying that I believe global warming is simply a money grab.
That said, is it not possible that China’s giant smog cloud is reflecting energy back into space?
Maybe...but think on a larger scale...CLOUDS. Clouds/storms are always reflecting some energy away from Earth. Clouds were left out of AGW models as one of the variables...go figure.
Sunspots baby.....sunspots....the sun is on strike and isn’t producing the requisite crop of sunspots.....if this continues into the next 11 year sunspot cycle....expect at best another 400 year long mini ice age.
