She grew up with guns. Did she own these before registration requirements? I don’t know what the gun laws are in Connecticut but do you really need a permit for a long gun???
Currently for a long gun in CT you must be 18. If you have a CT pistol permit same dale sale with NICS approval, otherwise it is a 2 wk wait for background checks.
For hand guns a pistol permit is required to purchase.
