After reading the Deadspin article I say it's total spin and Te'o is playing everyone now just as he was playing everyone for the past year.

The school is perpetuating the scam to save face but they will end up losing face as the truth comes out. They learned nothing from Penn State.

He is supposed to hold a press conference tomorrow in which Swarbrick says he will clarify the timeline and the details.

He has known for at least two months - since his attempt to create a web presence for his girlfriend's putative sister blew up in his face - that he would have to come up with some kind of plausible story. He has had two months to get his story straight.

There is no way we're getting the truth tomorrow. Also, his dad is apparently an overinvolved piece of work.

I don’t understand how he could have been in love with a woman he never met face to face? I understand getting attached to pen pals but that’s not the same as a romantic relationship with the opposite sex. It sounds like total BS to me.
