Wow, Dial Idol was sure wrong Wronger as wrong could be. Worst in their history.

That and VFTW.... Glad it went that way..

dialidol claims 100% accuracy by, for instance, when there are 6 Idols left, their statistics show 1 of them is safe and the other 5 are all in danger of being in the bottom 3 and going home. Then, whichever of the 5 they say is bottom 3 gets the boot, they say their prediction was accurate. This week they showed ALL SIX of the contestants in a near statistical tie (with Candice having a very slight edge over the other 5) with all of them potentially going home. So no matter which of the contestants got the boot this week, dialidol would be claiming an accurate prediction.

VFTW was way wrong in every season except the last two where they picked Scotty Mcreery and Phillip Phillips. Given the record sales of those two Idol winners, and that I’m guessing the VFTW folks didn’t buy either of their albums, they didn’t have a thing to do with those two guys winning.

VFTW picks from when they first began in season 3:

Season 3 - Jennifer Hudson
Season 4 - Scott Savol
Season 5 - Kevin Covais
Season 6 - Antonella Barba
Season 7 - Kristy Lee Cook
Season 8 - Megan Joy
Season 9 - Tim Urban
Season 10 - Scotty Mcreery
Season 11 - Phillip Phillips
Season 12 - Lazaro Arbos

Thanks for that insight on both of these sources.....

You’re welcome! I think both of those sites have created their own hype and perception that they’ve ever been accurate, in the case of dialidol, or had any power, in the case of VFTW. It’s never been true of either.
