We’re just one result away from an all-girl top 5, which is what many of us were hoping for, as weak as the guys were and are. I personally would be okay with any of the girls winning the competition; all are very marketable. If Laz is finally put out of his misery tonight, the remainder of the season should be nothing but awesomeness by five talented young women.

I still would put Kree vs. Candice as the finale, with Angie a close third, Janelle a close fourth, and Amber a close fifth. I’ve enjoyed Janelle more and more the past four weeks, as I think she’s really found her zone, and Amber has survived being overshadowed by the other girls and has shown much promise (although her second song last night had some rough spots) and has great legs, as does Angie. :-)

As it should have been. We've had 5 weeks of dead weight because of Idol's stupid gender quota.

That would be a good idea for next season (if there is one): Assemble the Top 10 out of the top 10 best singers, regardless if they are a boy or a girl. That alone would make the show more interesting.
