I would choose Amber over Kree, just because her voice has a pure sound and a timbre (is that the right word?) that conveys emotion. Plus she’s a knock out beauty! (But you could tell she was uncomfortable in those short, shorts—which tells me she is also a modest young lady.)

Yes...that's the right word...and Amber just turned 19. She has an authentic cry in her voice people twice her age would kill to have, she is modest and unassuming, she reeks of class and she's a knockout.

She is exactly what R&B needs. I don't think she can win. I don't think middle America gets performers like her. I would bet a thousand dollars that she'll be voted off before Lazaro.

Lots of folks will say "so what?" and "it's just a reality show." If it happens, I think it'll be cultural tragedy. I've never earned a dime as an adult doing anything other than play, sing, compose, record and arrange music...that's 38 years in the music business. I probably take shows like this a lot more seriously than folks who can care less about the direction and quality of American popular culture.
