Paul Jolley

His lisping about meeting Carrie Underwood is a bit much. "I am a huge fan!" he flitters to Seacrest. But the guy can sing.

Keith: (begins a needlessly tortured critique--askes Jolley who he sees himself as, what genre is he interested in.)

Jolley: Pop-Country. I want to be the guy version of Taylor Swift.

Keith: I feel like you underestimate the quality of your voice. (didn't think it was believable) Hope America votes that way too.

Minaj: (begins a needlessly tortured critique of Keith's critique. "Didn't believe him?" Once that dust settles she bats her fake eyelashes at Jolley again) I thought it was a solid performance. Didn't have a problem with it.

Randy: (not sure about the performance either) Loved the beginning (not so much the rest)

Mariah: I didn't know you wanted to be "pop-country" until just now. You have a very strong instrument. blah-blah Felt the crowd enjoyed it.
