I am sure I am not the only one who can’t believe what bad shots storm trooper are with their laser guns. Also how ineffective their armor is. I mean it does no good at all.
Not only does it do no good (not even against Ewok arrows and stone spears), it actually hurts their peripheral vision and agility. They chase the rebels around the Death Star for a good half hour and never get close to nabbing them in that bulky armor.
I think that the armor design must be the result of Rebel sabotage in the Imperial military procurement apparatus.
