To be fair, about 70% of african-americans in the US are in the middle class (or better) and receive little in the way of public support. There are about 5 Million members of the urban african - american underclass, concentrated in the nation’s largest 10 urban areas that account for this behavior, crime in incredibly dispropotionate numbers, and overall government expenditure that is mind boggling.

If, in fact, that is true, why don't they do something about the problems in their inner city communities?
