The relation to my hypothetical, and this story, will be determined by your response to it . . . the kid caught a baseball, largely due to good fortune, and is asking for a "freebie." So, what's the lesson to be learned?
Good fortune catching a baseball has nothing to do with a kid disobeying his dad ,losing his toy and then being rewarded by not only a new one but a better one. BTW here is another comment from the article. What do you think about a “good citizen” being defined by ignoring your parents and then asking for a freebie?
“Everyone’s praising Lego , but , what about giving the boy some credit ? Here’s a good citizen in the making ! Congrats , Luka , your parents must be very proud of you !”
How about this comment...
“Our congress should take this to heart and learn from such a great company . Way to go lego . I live 5 miles from lego land . Great place for the kids .”
So now Congress, in these peoples minds, need to learn to just give away “stuff” and everybody will get warm fuzzy feelings. No wonder Obama got reelected.
