We gor 5 1/2 inches od rain in 2 days, but down the road a fellow got 7 inches of rain. We really need it too. The horses in the pasture are loving it and the rye grass that was planted is beginning to come up.
Will it be too late to plant more carrots? I’ve got some strawberries up and covered ‘cause we’re going to get some low temps in a couple of days. I’m going to do some lettuces in the garage, radishes and beets too.

We got just over 4" here NW of Austin. I don't know where you live, but carrots are OK in the garden if there is not much chance of freezing when they are small.

Lettuce, radishes and beets should be planted directly in the garden now. Cover them if the temps get close to 30.
