I do deliveries. That normally involves a bit of driving.
One of my recent pleasures was to have read to me, while driving, Dick Cheney's autobiography, "In My Time".
It was on CD, and each time I got back in the vehicle, the reading would resume from where it had stopped. That was pretty cool. If you have to spend time in a vehicle, it's an informative and entertaining way to do so.
I had the dead-tree edition of “In My Time” out of the library.
Today we listened to “Demon Hunter,” a Catholic heavy metal music group. It was loud, but when one could understand the lyrics, they were actually rather inspirational.
Do you have a digital library membership? It’s terrific—you download audio and ebooks, load them onto your devices and off you go with literature to keep you company while you’re doing otherwise boring chores. You also don’t have to be concerned with getting the hard copy back to the library on time, losing it, etc.
