Does it matter whether your statement above is right or wrong?

Not really. If I had never made that statement, the sun would still rise tomorrow.

Still, from all evidence I have seen it appears to be a first-order predicate.

I wouldn't think that would be the only reason to state that something matters or doesn't matter. If they raise your taxes to be 120% of your net worth, the sun will still rise tomorrow. Would that mean it didn't matter that they raised your taxes that high?

But you decide based on your own criteria. I'll get back to some of the other questions in your post in a sec.
