Can you not just get a measuring tape? You may know it as seamstress or tailor’s tape. It’s flexible, permanent, and in the USA, it has inches on one side and cm/mm on the other.

Can you not just get a measuring tape?
Of course,however this is for sticking to things for permanent measuring purposes or measuring the inside of irregular shaped small objects.
Being only paper thin they slide into 'all sorts' of things for depth measuring.etc.
There are both metric and imperial on the site.
Just thought others may have a use for it ,as i have.
It is that object at the back of the drawer that you can never find a use for ,then out of the 'Blue' ,it saves the day!
