You can put guava paste on crackers with a bit of pepper preserves, or you can put it in a tortilla or empanada with cream cheese and/or meat. It’s a common ingredient to add a bit of sweet-but-sharp flavor, usually to finger foods. We don’t plan to use any right now, but the Monroe Walmart is the place to get it!

I’m sorry about your neighbor. So many elderly people of that generation insist on living alone, and they’re so at risk for falls and other medical emergencies. At least you’re friends with the horse!

You can make paste out of guava? My paste tasted like peppermint.

And the cat, the dog and the peacocks, although the peacocks not so much. One of them likes Mr. Sg and accompanies him on his rounds. I ran after the peahens one day w/arms out yelling "Huggie Huggie! Kissy Kissy!" and they flew up on the carport roof. (Listened to the obtuse angel that time.)
