I do puzzle easily, however, and your posts have a stream-of-consciousness impressionism that is sometimes dizzifying.
And with that, I need to put on many layers of clothing, and then we’re off to sunny Monroe and its Walmart, my second home away from home (after the nearer Walmart ;-).
‘Face, did you see Dover has a new high-end Steampunk coloring book? I’ll get it for your visit, and we can drink box wine, eat pretzels, and color until scandalously late hours! Maybe ... TEN! Maybe 9:30 ...
Not actually intending to have a stream-of-consciousness impressionism , and am appreciative of the compliment of yours which am not attempting to be dizzifying in posts. Sometimes in sharing a post there appears to be a moment where a preview may appear on the screen or inside information is being revealed or information imparted is being shared via an informant. I assure you and everyone here, I have no inside information or informant. Am utilizing best guess technology and failure is a continuing prevalent puzzle.
No, I’m sorry, I don’t get the Dover blurb until Fridays, and I can’t seem to spend too much time checking things out these days. I almost feel like my brain is ready to ‘splode.
But the thought of coloring Steampunk while drinking box wine and eating pretzels until almost 9:30 sounds like it may be something healing...
(I need something...I’m feeling fragile, today.)
So I need an opinion.
I am torn between a Mini Cooper S Hardtop and a VW Golf GTI. They cost about the same (23,000 for the Mini and 24,000 for the Golf.) The Golf has 200 hp and the Mini has 181. I am perfectly okay with either of these engines because honestly they are both way faster than I really need a car to be anyway.
What I’m wondering is if anyone has/knows someone who has these cars and what kind of repair costs they’re incurring. Motortrend says the Mini is cheaper to repair and holds up better, but a real life opinion would be good.
(Don’t worry, I’m not buying this now. I’m buying a new (new new not new to me) car next winter and I decided I’d shell out for something that I’d actually enjoy driving.)
