moose, am on the right coast residing in the Hornet's Nest. Should you travel to the left coast it will take me awhile to get to the airport, and if I have to drive, I'll need four days heads up. Drove cross-country once. Took three and a half days. It was fun! I-40 took a 90 degree left turn in Arkansas. Up on two wheels. LOL ... what a memory.

I 40-30-20-10 is a safer route. Don’t know what year you drove on 40 but we did it a couple of times and it almost rattled our teeth loose.
