People who engage in questionable activities aren't usually looking for answers.

Is asking a question a questionable activity? And if asking a question implies the person does not want an answer, then how is a person to acquire information?

"Is asking a question a questionable activity?"

No. I pray you do not confuse my word games with serious philosophy.

"And if asking a question implies the person does not want an answer, then how is a person to acquire information?"

Asking a rhetorical question implies that the answer is already known to the questioner. Isn't that so?

"... how is a person to acquire information?"

One acquires information by asking questions.

One acquires knowledge by investigating questions.
