I would NEVER knit an Afghan. I may knit a throw...but it’s not the yarn that’s risky: it’s the bendable aluminum knitting kneedles. And the blunt crochet hooks...well...those are just anathema! One might be tempted to stick one in a loaf of bread...or a ball of lint.
