I call it “outside the barrier inside of which I can shoot?” If you don’t have to maintain it, somebody else does, then “commons” works. But I bet you can come up with a *lot* of things to call it...LOL. I’m just glad you got the place you had been wanting, and I hope the neighbors are nice.
Actually, my “neighbors” are the same. I don’t see any more of them before I moved because 1) We all live here, 2) I’m not physically/mentally/emotionally capable of meeting “everyone,” and 3) some here are “shut-ins” and I will never meet them, since the “privacy” rules apply. I can’t just go to the office and ask for the apartment numbers of those who can’t get out.
My own “problems” preclude me from being a more sociable person. Since contracting CFIDS, I have no social life. Actually, I have no life. *sigh*
But I am happy with a place that has more room and has east-facing windows. Life is GOOD!
