No, actually. I relocated the gate, which belongs to housing, since the previous tenant is no longer “there.” As long as I don’t abscond with said gate, and it remains in the inventory, I’m good.
Actually, the gates in existence have been made by previous or current tenants, (none are standard equipment) and if a person moves out because of *ahem* death or relocation into assisted living or hospice, the gate stays with the apartment and is “available” to others “if it fits.”
It so happens, the fence opening for my entry is the same width as the one next door, so the exchange is OK. A lot of gates won’t fit on other patios, and I don’t understand that...I mean, if one patio fence opening is 45” across, why is the opening right next door 42” or 47”? They should all be the same, yes?
Nope. Not in this complex. I think it was made in stages, and the specs were refined after the first few buildings were constructed. Committees at work...
