Interesting. I wonder if Moslems eat more meat, or particular kinds of meat, per capita than other residents of Britain; that would account for some of the apparent “excess.” Certainly one never hears of their being Vegan.
We were watching a local tourism show last night, and a segment on a pizza shop in Asheville mentioned that about half the customers were vegetarian or vegan! Asheville is a loopy place.
