Even better, we have a hodge podge patchwork of town, county, and other road crews plowing the roads.
So town of Waywayanda plows one street across from our driveway, and usually shoves everything into our driveway.
County does the road out front maybe.
SO you get to see one plow make a mound of crap across the roads, and the county guy tooling along later who then hits the mound of crap to send it flying.
Did I mention that they took grotesque pleasure one year in smashing mailboxes with the wingblade on their plows?
Then they cynically left flyers in mailboxes about how it is important to report mailboxes that have been mashed by plows.
I try not to be surprised by the road crews and their behaviors.
I really try.
But the year they stopped plowing so they could stop off to pick up some six packs was a bit much.
Further south, two hours southeast in the city, they had that temper tantrum where they stopped their plows in intersections and walked away.
Several people died directly because of that action, but nobody ever was punished.
Oh, then they used a bucketloader to clear the street and smashed someones vehicle on camera and didn’t care.
