Afternoon, all y’all. I took Pat and Vlad to church, and I was looking stuning, if I do say so myself. Pat found a baby Jesus figure in one of the Three Kings cakes, which traditionally would make him King for the Day, but that’s a bit much. I’m making a cake for everyone, since we had a mix and frosting in the pantry, left from a craft project that didn’t happen. We were going to color the white cake blue, to be the Long Lake, and then build Lake Town on it with pretzels held together with chocolate icing. Maybe in time for the release of the next movie ... but meanwhile, I needed either to cook or to donate the cake mix, because the byos kept nagging about it!
Misread as: “I needed either to cook or to detonate the cake mix.”
Which brought to mind the prize cake from The Little Rascals.
I can’t recall the last cake I made. My bad.
Now that Christmas is over and the Nativities are put away, I brought the photos out for the top of the small bookcase. And right there on top was a photo of Pat, James, James and Vlad! I guess you know it made me smile! :o])
I’m sure everyone in church noticed Your Stuningness. And I’ll bet they didn’t believe you’ve had “that many” kids! LOL!
