We have ‘special’ snakes here that seemingly get curious as to what these moving things are and come to investigate.
Not too bad when it’s just a little garden snake checking you out.
But an Eastern Diamondback deciding he wants to see what you’re doing is rather disheartening.
Especially when you carfully move him, and he decides to follow you.
Only had that happen once thankfully.
You moved it? “Carefully”? What possessed you to move it? How fast were you going when you left?
All the vipers here stay up on the mountain.
Only once did I see a Copperhead in a yard and I caught him and kept him for a “pet” for about a week and then turned him loose.
[he lived in a huge mayonnaise jar and was just an “observation specimen”...not a cuddle-critter]
