You have missed something somewhere...we, of the UT, are the perfect “story” material. So what’s keeping you from giving us eternal life in the pages of one of your books?

I’m not talking about the books you’ve already written. I’m talking about the Book that has yet to be. Never underestimate yourself, or your abilities.

I wrote a rather longish short sci-fi story about shutting down the last human outpost in the Solar system. I wrote it just after the last of the Space Shuttles was delivered to its retirement home.

Call me a pessimist, but I see no reason to expect that our experiments in space will ever lead to a permanent human presence off Earth.
