I had a blue-point Birman cat: Long hair, blue eyes, blue-point Siamese markings...except for the white sox on his feet. The breed is large, like a Maine coon cat ~ The Great PV weighed in at 22 pounds.

There have been cats since, but there will never be another PV. He was regal, he was extremely intelligent, and he was a total wuss. We had him neutered before we knew his worth: He was one of 2,000 in the US at the time, and was the first cat to ever survive Feline Leukemia.

Howya, FRiends! We lost the Topic in a long-ago move, along with the extra shower curtains and my little electric pencil-sharpener. (There’s a cash reward for finding the pencil sharpener.)

There is no Topic, but the basic rule is that there is no hostility. There is curiosity, there is amusement, there is devotion, there is lot and lots of weather-talk, there is tragedy, there is joy ... but no hostility.

You would have loved him. Everyone did, except cat-haters, and he would do his best to change their minds by jumping in their laps when they least expected it. He reveled in that!

Wrapping up supper now, and the next thing is cake and ice cream. The icing is blue, which will put me off the cake ;-), but I may take on some vanilla ice cream.

Bill is missing. I guess he went somewhere with his friends this afternoon, and he’ll turn up sometime, looking for food.
