Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedevs off-air comments that Russian Presidents are given a secret file about extraterrestrials living among us created much media interest. Most news reports claimed that Medvedev was simply joking. His apparent reference to the Men In Black movie as a source of information on a super secret agency that monitors extraterrestrials on Earth was commonly cited as key evidence that he was in fact joking. The reasoning is that no political leader would refer reporters to a comedy to clarify national policy. It has now emerged that Medvedev was not referring to the Men in Black comedy after all, but to a recent Russian television documentary titled Men in Black that reveals many details about an extensive cover up of extraterrestrial life visiting Earth.
However, a more accurate translation of what Medvedev actually said about the Men in Black phenomenon was: You can receive more detailed information having watched the documentary film of the same name. So Medvedev was referring to a Russian documentary film titled Men in Black, not the Hollywood blockbuster by the same name...
Russian Men In Black (MIB) documentary, a number of prominent UFO cases in Russia and the USA are discussed. The Roswell UFO crash is covered, along with a number of extraterrestrial abduction cases, and UFOs disabling nuclear weapons facilities. The documentary examines testimony that extraterrestrial bases have been established on Earth, and that some are in restricted US military areas with the full knowledge of the Pentagon. The documentary even goes on to seriously discuss President Eisenhowers alleged meeting with extraterrestrials, where agreements were reached with some of the visitors giving them permission to take some of the Earths resources in exchange for advanced technology...

We had a kid back in 2000 who decided to try and play chicken with me on the local backwoods highway.
[Route 284, speed limit 55.]
He pulled into my lane for no reason and then sat there giggling at his girlfriend.
He never paid attention to why she started screaming and trying to leap out the rear window.
You see, he pulled this crap before and I got a “case of the ass” this time around.
So I floored it.
Once he decided to quit giggling at his girl and pay attention to the little white VW Golf that he hoped would run off the road I was already passing an unhealthy speed towards impact.
With about half a car length to go he pulls back into his lane as I scraped by.
You know what he ahd the nerve to yell out the window at me as I screamed by?
“Jerk!”
I’m told his girlfriend broke up with him later that day.
I probably need some points to me for that..
And must by needs do pennance in the dragon pens for it.
Freaking cold here.
My hands are ice, the missus is cracking zombie jokes.
It is quite terrible.
And flutes there are, and fifes so sweet,
That glide across the day.
The feathered players know the tunes,
And never ask for pay.
Amen to a nice prayer
Nature sure does like a good piece of background music. ;)
I knew it was a hybrid. I was just confused when I went looking for the (gasoline) engine size and the only things I could find prominently displayed were that it had ABS and an electric motor inside it somewhere. There was also a big thing about some touch-screen item that it also has, so that the driver can be even further distracted going through the “amazing array of information and entertainment options.”
Also the price, in gigantic font, so that it’s the very first thing you notice. If you’re like me, you immediately say to yourself that a Nissan 370Z can be had for only $3,000 more.
Just realized we’re under a snow storm warning for the next 48 hours. Could get a foot of snow starting around midnight tonight...
Yeah, the motor size itself is always hard to find.
They list some BS combined horsepower number.
YOIKS!
Stay warm. Let the dog warm your feeties, and drink some Captain Morgan!
I shut off the space heater, but I don’t want to open the door...I don’t like the sound of the wind.
Still, it will soon be time to turn on the fans...wish you were here... ;o]
Goodnight ‘Face.
See you tomorrow.
:)
Bill actually got one of his friends to come pick him up to go do ... whatever. I’m flabbergasted. I thought all his friends were total mooches.
Ta, Moose! You rock!
Should you ever have the urge to visit the Las Vegas Valley, please do so in the dead of winter...otherwise, your BTU will short-circuit!
*hug*
Some days, the mooches actually know how to suck up.
:o]
Bill should check out the Air Force, as I think the Marine Corps would be a little harsh for him. Anoreth, no. (Anoreth ROCKS!)
I love it. Congrats on your love!
Heh. *smile*
Love ya Face. Thanks for being my FRiend.
I should have new pictures for you tomorrow.
Great HTML!
He’s basically the perfect junior officer. Vaguely personable, a complete know-it-all, well-versed in excuses.
Thanks! It’s more than I have for you, since my daughter hasn’t sent me any of the piccies from the baby shower.
The Mom-to-be has gestational diabetes, like my daughter, but 25 years ago, there weren’t as many things in place as there are now. However, I suspect the MTB won’t make it to April 9.
I visited my daughter today, but her soon-to-be ex-husband wanted to take her and his daughter shopping, so I was told in no uncertain terms that I was not really wanted, so I made an exit, Stage Left!
Though my grandson lives next door to her, I was not important enough to alert him to my visit. :o[
DP and my brother did well in the Air Force.
Bill will be admitted to UNC-Charlotte, but it’s probable he’ll be commuting (with his dad, who works nearby) next year. He could also hold a job on campus or nearby.
I need to go check my calendar to see if I can sing for a wedding in May, and then call the bride with a yes/no. ttyl
