We give the GOP all three Houses for 6 years... and domestically, they can't manage a single major victory.
So they follow it up with McCain... and give us Obama.
We give them massive gains in the House in 2010 to help stop Obama's major initiatives... and they pass them all anyway.
And they follow it up by nominating Romney, who runs the most limp-wristed campaign against the easiest target ever in Presidential politics.
And now they keep Boehner, who has enabled Obama more than anyone else in the GOP.

Fine. That's your choice. You can have your party. I'm done with it.

They all have their price, some are just better negotiators. I see no possible excuse to re-elect the collaborator

Bonehead will lead the GOP House to minority in 2014.

Their next move will be to vote in lock step with the Dems to eviscerate the 2nd amendment to the U.S. constitution. Count on it. Before the end of January. They’re going to sell us all out.

No more votes for ANY Republican. If they don’t have the guts to join a third party then they don’t have the guts to represent me.

The only hope I have now is that Conservative Republicans - if there are any - surround Boehner and prevent him from making any decisions without such a committee agreeing or disagreeing with him.

He is obviously not up to the office of speakership on his own.

We were done when Boehner said on October 25th, 2010, “ We will not shut the government down” Took the option off the table and from that point forward, it has been easy for the dems to run the clock out and tehn the republicans cave on the last second of the last day.

They think they are really tough on spending because they wait until the end to cave, but, each time, THEY CAVE, and that’s all that counts.

Hey John - other than the GOPe - the rest of the world is laughing at you. Obama and Pelosi are laughing the loudest.

If he doesn’t find a way to hold the line on the AWB and the Dream Act, he’s done in 2014-one way or the other. there’s no reason for voting anymore at that point.

I'm honestly much more worried about the Dream Act (or even a much more comprehensive Amnesty) because I fear a lot of Republicans have bought the media line that they must pander for the Hispanic vote. As for the Assault Weapons Ban, It barely passed in 1994 with a huge democrat majority, I don't see it going anywhere in a majority Republican house. In fact I don't see it even making it to the floor, considering the committee where it must originate is stacked with some of the most pro-gun Republicans. In fact I will be surprised if it makes it through the Senate without being severely gutted, if at all, the Senate has 7 democrat senators from red states that are up for reelection in 2014, who won't want to touch gun control with a ten foot poll.

The Republican Party should just change their name to the "Washington Generals"

I hope that Rep. Boehner won’t run, in 2014. He’s been in Congress since 1991, and 24 years is too long for anyone to be in Congress. Ken Blackwell could win that seat, if he runs. If he doesn’t run, I hope that a conservative state senator will run.

I would like to see a large voter registration change campaign to send a message to the stupid party. I’m going to start mine today by changing from GOP to independent.

Yep. I have never seen such a leadership vacuum in the GOP
in my 55 years of life.

"Round up the usual suspects."

GOPe's and others. We need to see the count and shame the ones who voted for Boehner and get them unelected during their next campaigns.

What a sorry lot.

You’re under the impression that the goal of the GOP is to be a conservative governing party rather than just frustration outlet for conservatives in a leftist oligarchy. No one is more surprised than the GOP than when they actually win power and have to govern.

Agreed.

The GOP doesn't stand for anything, it is all talk.
