Vanity - Recommendations for a pellet gun

Ok, I have a squirrel problem, and I am needing some recomendations for what to get to shoot them with, namely I want to use a pellet/bb gun. I want to get one that is powerful enough to put them down quickly but not too expensive. Any recomendations?

Do not spread them around but rather put them in bowls or boxes so you can pick them up if the smell is too strong.

S&W Model 500 pistol should do the trick.

Might as well get a Henry lever rifle for kids in 22lr. Will shoot shorts, longs, long rifle and subsonic 40 grain bullets reliably. Too much fun for kids so don’t share it witht he grandkids ... just sayin’

Actually no. The trap works. You don’t have to be out in the yard, or anywhere chasing down, aiming, and hoping to hit one of those quick, elusive little critters. You will improve your eye with the shooting yes, but timewise let the trap do the work, and just cleanup afterward at your leisure. I’m certain most folks would appreciate getting the job done without having to live for the job.

As a well-known squirrel hater (screen name SquirrelCutter on more than a few forums) I have to recommend Edgun. Highly expensive, very hard to find, but they'll get the job done every time. And you can make a nice video with the camera attachment.

WARNING to kids and soft-hearted people: GRAPHIC SLOMO!

Don't watch this if you are fond of the furry-tailed little monsters:

Squirrels are eatable

Or, if you just want a few laughs, build one of these:

Squirrel Catapult

Squirrels, exterminate the species.

just get a .22LR rifle.

A cautionary note. You ought to be a good shot with that rifle, otherwise you're sending a .22 bullet out into the air and it will come down, perhaps onto someone's head. Not likely, but possible.

Negative.

I also have a Gamo .22, and the Ruger .177 is of a much higher quality.
