I always thought when someone didn’t like the Bible, they just wrote one they did like. No need to admend it. Piers can just get off T.V. and start writing his “bible” It can be called “The Book of Piers Morgan”, and go to his promised land somewhere in central Africa, and leave the U.S.A.
A week ago there was a thread where a group published a ‘gay friendly’ bible that pulled all the ‘offensive’ parts.
I am surprised it hasn’t been done 10 years ago. Maybe it was and they forgot, so they did it again just to get attention.
Piers Morgan, if he has a problem with a particular religous book such as the “Bible”, he does not have to read it or worship that faith. Not sure the point of his argument. He can simply find the religion which suits his belief system. About the Constitution, we have an Admendment process. His stupidity is glowing.
As Cordell Walker once said “ If I want your opinion I’ll beat it out of you”. I can’t believe the turd is actually paid for his opinion, it’s no wonder the Brits don’t want him either.

I refuse to elevate this SOB to the status that John Stewart or Dave Letterman get. These arrogant Libs are nothing if not annoying. Didn’t watch his POS show before, won’t bother now. As usual, the populace of this country will use him as a posterchild for the left. Sick of all of this. Ignore him.
His ratings are in the toilet. He is saying these things to get attention and viewers. Any publicity, even bad publicity gets his name in the news, and people talking about him- which is all good for him. If everyone ignores him, and nobody watches his shows or reads about him, he becomes insignificant.
It’s like the 2A. They know damn well that if they opened the battle to amend the Constitution, they would get wiped out. No way is there enough support for gay ‘marriage’ and the 3 years worth in 10 hours ammo sales proves they will never get that through ‘legally’.
So they have to do it by stealth and deception outside constitutional bounds.
I don’t think there’s a one that thinks they will see either pass on a constitutional amendment it in their lifetime. But the cause will live on and there is no greater thing than ‘the cause’ to a lib.

His statement inherently admits his institutional beliefs are inconsistent with the Constitution and the Bible. Sorry to disagree Piers, I’ll stick with both of them just the way they are.

Your right, nothing is straight on with them. It is always in stealth mode. The are always taking a bit off the edges, until eventually it is completely eroded. Doesn’t matter the subject either.
It is what bugs me about centrists. They think being compromising with will allow more to get done in Washington. I said, the more you compromise with the liberals the further to the left the country will move. They rarely give anything back.
He must have missed the memo — the gay lobby already claims the bible doesn’t condemn homosexuality, and another group has already re-written the bible to make it gay-friendly.

To shorten a long example I had working knowledge of, look at the OHV/landuse wars with the Greens/BLM vs outdoor rec enthusiasts.
For years we tried convincing people that the greens were taking it a piece at a time and that compromise would only lead to more demands and closures.
That was in the late 90s/200.
Today nearly all the areas we fought to keep open are either closed entirely or so restricted that only eco-hikers can use them.
And that winning strategy is exactly what you say. But here’s the ugly truth. Those who compromise on ‘our’ side are directly responsible. They fight those of us opposing the libs with every bit of the zeal the libs do. And why?
Because they don’t want to be called extremists. No more, no less. And they are willing to lose the fight just to avoid the nametag.

Piers Morgan is not talking about amending Mein Kampf. Apparently he believes it’s fine just the way it is.
