On the date of my 19th anniversary as a FReeper, I’m pinging Federalist/Anti-Federalist participants for a bit of light reading for the Christmas season.
Funny, it came up today in my own memory hole. And it is perhaps more timely than when you posted it a few years ago...
By pure happenstance, I retire today after 36 years in the IT industry. I think I have a little editing work in front of me. ;-)
To the extent this ping overlaps that from Publius, I apologize. But that is the nature of our common interests.
A Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all - and it portends to be a VERY happy New Year!!!
Please FreepMail me if you want to be added to or removed from this low volume ping list. Ping requests gladly accepted.
Recessional of the Sons of the American Revolution:
“Until we meet again, let us remember our obligations to our
forefathers who gave us our Constitution, the Bill of Rights,
an independent Supreme Court and a nation of free men.”
Dr. Benjamin Franklin, when asked if we had a republic or a monarchy, replied "A Republic, if you can keep it."
:))
Thanks. Ed auguri di Buon Natale!
