The amendments in the Bill of Rights are inalienable and cannot be taken away. These were created to prevent tyranny and protect our individual rights to liberty. Take away the 2nd and you will have open revolt.
The rights codified in the Bill of Rights are God-given, and the rights will exist whether they are written down or not.
