We all know what happened today.
We all have felt an immense sense of sorrow for those victims in Connecticut.
And, we know what's coming.
I'm posting this thread for us to gather our resources.
Before doing so becomes illegal.

Right because the perpetrators may think twice about going to a place where they could be killed by another acting in self defense. But then of course that gun on campus would have to be locked in a safe so as not to fall into the wrong hands which would mean it may be hard to get to when needed!
So the left is thinking of using this to get their agenda moving? (I’ve read lots of comments on this forum saying that the left will use this to push for strict gun laws.) Conservatives have an even more powerful voice because truth is powerful. We just have to use our voice. We cannot keep silent. The light shines in the darkness and the darkness cannot overcome it. (John 1) So then, when we speak the truth, we help to put out the darkness.
I wish we could have a huge rally and promote all the reasons we need to allow law abiding citizens to own guns. Find every story we can find on victims saving their lives or the life/lives of someone/others with their legal firearm. Maybe get Donald Trump, since he seems to like to get his nose into things, and since he has money, to post all these articles of saved lives in newspapers everywhere. Be a loud squeaky wheel, louder than the Rats who are usually the loudest and squeakiest and usually falsifying their facts as well.
Next, I propose that Conservatives promote homeschooling and show that this incident could have been avoided altogether if parents would have homeschooled their children, kept them away from the gun free zone, and into a gun protected home, for example.
If the left is going to use this to promote their agenda, I say, we use our wits, intelligence, and the power of the truth to silence them and refute them.
Another bizzaro-world coincidence: the union thug in the IL tent battle, yelling “I’ll kill 20 of you with a gun” just three days ago.
I’d sure like to know what meds he was on. Or not on, but was.
I do agree, and I think it might be intended to escalate in a fashion similar to my first novel, or my recent short fiction “what I saw at the coup.” They know they will get violent blowback if they start doing confiscations/arrests, and they will leverage the blowback for more police state controls, and more tyranny. They know what they are doing.
possibly none ~ if they all thought he was autistic, but could drive a car, they would never once have suspected him of being schizophrenic ~ an additional problem that usually becomes quite noticeable in the early 20s.
then, one day, this already impaired guy has visions or hears voices and next thing you know he’s killing mommy, then everybody she worked with, and finally himself.
Regrettably stupid people cannot be stopped with facts. Facts are blanks, shot at zombies.
I hope they can unravel his mental history, and figure out how to prevent or detect such things. If he had a mental history, I hope it is studied forensically.

I’m about 10 miles from where the school is in Sandy Hook. Used to drive through there every night on the way home from work. Still go riding the Glide there in warmer weather.
I dread the thought of Obama coming here, but the media will eat it up. I wouldn’t be surprised if he makes at least one appearance for the funerals or a memorial service.
Also, I may be mistaken, but doesn’t the state of Connecticut restrict magazine capacities to ten rounds already? (someone else from CT correct me if I’m wrong). If that’s the case, it’s possible that the mags the shooter had may have been (for the most part) 10-rounds each (depending on what his mother owned - she probably bought whatever the gun shop sold to her).
When was the last time we had a Kenyan Muslim buttpacker as a lame duck president?
