I don’t think Rush is quite right.
Yes, they should resist any temptation to ‘negotiate’ with Obama. Obama won’t budge on taxes and will instead extract a hike from them. Meanwhile, with control of the House, the GOP can stop any spending they want—that doesn’t need to be negotiated.
The one additional thing they need to do, since Romney lost, is take the half a loaf on extending the Bush tax cuts by agreeing to extend them for those making less than $250K. Otherwise, Obama will rightly be able to tag the GOP with having raised taxes on the middle class that he and Dems wanted to stop from happening.
Thus, they 1) need to not agree to any tax increases, 2) agree to the only tax cuts that they can get, and 3) use their power with the control of the House to cut spending.
Unfortunately conservatives have been out flanked by psy-ops played on us now for several years.
When we failed to answer the question of “Was it really all Bush’s fault?” it was the beginning of the end.its been down hill from there and it only got worse. Than we had the war on Hispanics, women, Mitts dog, class warfare and most here know the rest.
Unanswered charges real or mythical have been used by the regime to destroy us for little or no reason at all other than we were outplayed and they were able to use the media to create fairy tales.
