Don't want to believe the Navy would lie outright about this. Iran's captured "drone" might be the one they captured after it went down over their border from Afghanistan some time ago.

Who says the Navy is lying? Just ‘cause it has Navy markings doesn’t mean it really belongs to them. There is a Van’s RV-4 flying out of a local airport that has markings that would be perfect for a WW II Navy aircraft, but somehow I don’t think they owned one.
