Move over Charlie Sheen. Another Two and a Half Men controversy is exploding.
Angus T. Jones, who has played the role of Jake Harper on the hit CBS show since 2003 and reportedly earns $350,000 an episode, is featured in a new video for the Forerunner Christian Church, in which he calls the sitcom filth that contradicts his devout Christian values.
Thats not all. The 19-year-old actor even urges fans to stop watching.

Watched that show for 15 minutes once. It was nothing but crude sex jokes.
Stupid, unfunny, jokes glorifying promiscuity. Pure rubbish.
Maybe he’s coming to some conclusions about things. First, though, he needs to live his convictions before giving counsel to others. Give up the $350K gig, kid, and take a stand.
He may have been paid less in previous years.Kind of like athletes. As for being written out of the show his contract was renewed for this season...maybe re-title to two and one eighth men? Still not too shabby

I watched this show once years ago...and there was a “chubby” kid on it. Is this the same kid, just grown up obviously not heavy anymore (at least from that photo on the website.)
Which he apparently suspends while depositing his check.
HOORAY Angus T. Jones! (never watched it)
Charlie Sheen was funny. Kucher sucks. The kid is apparently just as dumb in real life.
He already has been written out of the show. Hes now in the military and his only spots are when he Skypes to his dad.
So you’ve missed the several recent episodes where he was back at home with Mylie Cryus?
He has not been written out.
Even with Sheen it was tending towards the disgusting, but he was able to pull it off without going so far off the deep end. Since Kushner stepped in, they have been going more for the "shock" of more explicit vs. double entendre and even been delving into the homo slant. Bravo for Angus - I'll have to research his church to see how legit it is - the video with his arm around the other dude's shoulder made me think possible cult, but that's just because he's young and just learning to really think for himself.
“If it is filth and against his Christian values why in the heck does he continue to act in it and take the pay check????”
He may still be contractually obligated to appear in the show. Breaking a contract is not as easy as it sounds.
He may have already tried in private and failed. It’s possible his public criticism of the show is an attempt to get out of his contract and off the show.
He's young and makes $350K per episode. Unlike most young folks, he's looking at the present and planning for the future. Even though, on the surface, he appears to be a hypocrit, he has previously said that he wanted off the show.
With this statement, he will likely follow Sheen in being kicked off the show.
IF he has been prudent with that ridiculously large paycheck he should be able to buy himself out of the contract. If not let them sue if hasn’t got the money the big wigs will chase him as he gets other jobs
Would your answer be ‘so simple’ of he were doing porn or snuff films ??? What if he were an abortion doctor with a contract to provide ‘services’.
If he has had a change of heart and has found his Savior then his actions should follow. If he has to honor a contract then he should do so as a good servant not as a whiner.
Where were his moral principles when he signed his current contract?
He didn’t have any moral principles when he signed his last contract, because he hadn’t accepted Jesus yet.
Do you not understand the basic tenants of Christianity? Before accepting Jesus nobody is moral—not a single person (they might thing they are moral, but they are just deluding themselves). They have an immoral nature and live their lives in an immoral manner. That is one of the core beliefs of Christianity.

If indeed he had already joined the church, I would think that he had accepted Jesus when he did so. Isn’t that the idea of it all?
He had not joined the church or accepted Christ when he signed his last contract.
So what is your take on his latest statement?
