Yeah Pitch Black is a guilty pleasure. Can’t believe no one mentioned Inception. That was good. Lots mentioned Serenity. I’ve never even heard of it. I’m going to check it out.
Now if we could do a film noir thread I’ve been hooked on them for about 3 months now..thing is they didn’t make many and some of the best reviewed ones Netflix doesn’t Carry.

***It was a thread like this that I first heard of it. You’ll be pleased. The original TV series “Firefox” is available from Netflix/rental. I found it excellent.
One of the things that I like about threads like this is to learn about good sci-fi. But if posters are asked to put up only their best 3, that generates very few sci-fi movies to look for. What I would like to see is a thread that starts with the 20 or 30 best sci-fi films, and then asks what OTHERS are there which are worth watching?
