"The Big Broadcast is a Sunday night tradition for families throughout the WAMU listening area. Each week, Big Broadcast host Ed Walker offers listeners priceless recordings of popular radio programs from the '30s, '40s and '50s. Priceless, especially, for a man whose first sentence as a child was, 'Turn the radio on.' "

Hi, Vision. Just the usual for Thanksgiving, nothing new. Are you having people over to your house or going somewhere?

Yeah, I’m surprised he didn’t start another Johnny Dollar.

Hi, Doc! Happy Thanksgiving to you, too!

Although it’s a tough year and tough time, we still have plenty to be thankful for, as always.

I enjoy Lum & Abner.

The L & A Society used to publish a monthly newsletter which was quality.

Also had a service where they dubbed tapes from their library for a nominal fee. You had to send them blank tapes, maz of 5 at a time, for the recordings.

Yea it's a quick classic. But I don't like all the “sparing the turkey” stuff. If you want to give the turkey a pardon, then don't eat turkey.

I made a quick trip to DC at the end of last week.

My youngest daughter's think tank was releasing a video in homage to Leonard Read's "I, Pencil" essay that they are hoping to provide free of charge to schools and anywhere they can to encourage appreciation for free market principles.

She received a credit at the end.

It is available on youtube here ---> I, Pencil: The Movie. It's 6:33 in length.

Going to Clearwater Beach Hilton for a buffet style dinner outside with a view of the Gulf. We did it last year and liked it, so we’re going to do it again.

I'll check out the video...

How was DC? Were the leaves still on the trees? The weather's been good lately.
