I know you were being sarcastic, but I feel the need to make a point.

The voters in this country don't care about having ice cream themselves, they're totally satisfied by making sure YOU don't have it.

It was easy to understand the argument, "You have $20, and I have none, so you owe me $10." It's wrong, misguided and theft, but it made sense. I've become convinced that they just want someone to rip up your $20. They don't want to be better off, they just want to destroy us.
