While I totally agree that Christie acted like a jerk with Obama (what else is new with this windbag?), he did promise to have power restored to our area by Thursday, Nov. 9th. This was when local governments were saying we had to wait until Sunday. Bingo! Thursday night I had heat and electricity - several hours after my elderly dog began to suffer the early stages of hypothermia.
Meanwhile, that even bigger jackass and windbag, Mayor Bloomberg, refused to let the National Guard into the city (because these nasty, mean members of the Armed Forces carry guns!) and the boroughs are still in shambles.
I am sorry but I hold resentments. I donated to the relief effort but I don’t have much sympathy after that.
Texas suffered fires (yeah, ol’ r-tard Perry, you know—the one with a rock on lease property)—I am not going to look up precise numbers but I will get in the ballpark.
Over 4,000 home burned, 2,700 plus structures, 4 million plus acres. Burnt to the ground. Perry started asking in April for disaster relief and a partial came in July.
Many had fun teasing about the trailers and cow pastures and ol’ r-tard Perry.
So excuse me while I don’t feel a whole lot of sympathy.
Christie served Christie, not y’all. He knew Obama couldn’t deny his cordial advances, not at election time, but Christie wanted that hero photo-op as much as Obama did.
Nope. The man served himself and I am so happy it was good for y’all. Because Christie helped usher in FOUR MORE YEARS of this partisan crud for the rest of us.
Yeah, my grammar sucks.
I am grateful that you and your pup got some warm air! I may argue but I love my fellow freepers and I adore dogs!
